Deck Description

Note: This deck is a Pauper, meaning it is built of all common cards intentionally.

CiaranMadgrin challenged me to make a red aura Pauper faster than his.

This is my attempt, lol. Just some silly mono-red fun. I think the addition of Mark of Fury to help those heroic triggers will really help. Other than that I agreed with most of his auras, and just switched up the creature base.

How to Play

You drop a creature and start tagging auras onto it. Try and use a heroic creature if you can, for the extra counters, especially with the star card Mark of Fury which can be played over and over and over. Rolliker should be used with bestow as an aura if possible, though he's a spare critter if needs must. Faithless helps to draw the right stuff, discarding lands usually over much else since nothing in this deck is over two mana. Hit the opponent hard and fast and hold nothing back.

THERE IS NO TIME FOR STRATEGY, ONLY FOR SMASHING.

Deck discussion for Mark of Heros

The mark + heroic is a great idea. but some creature choices kinda confuse me. why skitter & bushwhacker? both seem so out of place here. the multikicks don't affect heroic. other than that it's not too shabby.

Only so many low drop heroic's. Skitter and Bushwacker were fast with good shit of their own.

Yeah, I get the heroics but the skitter & bushwhacker can be replaced easily. they have aggro but at the same time they just seem a bit out of place. it's good though

One of the most iconic green cards of its time, has been remade in Red: Brute Force, and I think it would fit the pauper theme quite nicely.

The green card, I wrote about is: Giant Growth

I like the concept of the deck but I still don't understand why Skitter of Lizards and Nyxborn Rollikicker are in the deck. Still +1. Also, congratulations on having the deck with the 2nd most likes on the hot page!(I'm trailing as I have the deck with the 3rd most likes Ahaha).
