Deck Description

this deck is all about a Turn 4 reanimation, during the first 3 turns you play your draw cards trying to draw into, and discard an Akroma or an Angel of Despair. then on turn 4 you play a reanimation spell to bring it out, beating their face, and by the time they can deal with it you should be able to get another one out or just reanimate the same one again

why would I do that? those plan for the long term, big spell game. I don't plan on letting enough turns go by for them to be useful. plus I have no big spell that capitalizes on them

I think a blue and black of this would do good. Use glimspe the unthinkable and other grinders on yourself and play living end to bring all your creatures out at once. This one looks pretty good tho.

Unless you deal with a lot of Faith's Fetters and Temporal Isolation in your area (and want to put your creatures back in the graveyard so you can re-reanimate them) I would consider taking out Wrath. I think this deck would do better to focus on consistency than answering more threats, and a great way to do that would be removing White mana entirely. You really don't need Mortify at all.

I'm terrible at probability, and all the sift-effects makes it even harder to guess, but do you hit 4 mana on turn 4 as often as you need? Have you tried playing with 24 or 25 lands?

pubes22: if living end had a way to hard cast it I would consider that, but sadly it has no surprise factor that the original had.
unknown: mortify was really just a filler, it probably will be replaced by magus of the bazaar after it comes out.
cogito:the lands are far from the problem, the problem is probably getting a reanimator in your hand and a angel in the grave

Mortify is really there for faith's fetters and other annoying enchanments like that. I have a RBW version of this. This type of deck loses to counter pretty bad. I've been looking into adding a bit of discard for that though...

well i like it ( you need like a million dolars for this one ) but it is good... i would change wrath and mortify for same counters... just in case... pact of negation maybe... but i don´t know much so...
