b/w Allies life gain

This deck was originally made to remain in standard as long as possible, as Karns rotates out in April 2016 (one month). I had lots of BFZ and OGW so I decided to trade my way to a deck using puca trade. This is a wholly traded deck and no other money was spent on it other than buying the booster boxes for battle and oath… (So it still cost me poop loads…sigh). The fetches should be a play set of polluted deltas and windswept heath ideally to reduce the swamps and plains, thinning the deck significantly (but this is the time to move into Innistrad). ). Looking forward to sub in written in stone rather than an immolating glare…

I have battled against standard (eldrazi mono green ramp, esper control, b/r dragons and 4 colour rally) and modern decks and it runs ok. It’s all about waiting and getting the triggers on Drana and Bloodbond. Thin the deck as much as you can and drop lantern scout for extreme life gain. It’s probably worth sacking Gideon early as chances are he will come again but the +1/+1 is really good and throw in a Munda= gg. Captain’s claws and Gideon all assist the life gain triggers (drop the claws on Drana turn 4 and watch her grow). The Serene Steward is there just to help buff the healers. There is 7 flying to assist in the early game evasion. For grindy matches chump block with the healers and any other 2 drops and play march from the tomb…Healers can do 9 damage, and 9 life gain in a turn if you have 3 in the graveyard and a steward…unlikely maybe 7, with 2 healers. Just remember trigger, trigger , trigger then Bloodbond when it’s a 9/9 lol.
