Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!

The Deathcult rogue and Nightveil specter are not legal in this deck. Lavinia's mana cost is both blue and white so you can only have cards in the deck that are blue or white or colorless. The rogue and specter have black in their mana costs and that makes them not able to be in the deck. Also check the main deck, there are 2 Capashen knight.

ah ok thx i didnt cath the 2 capashen knights and i thought since i can cast them with blue they would be legal in blue
No not true, you use the mana symbols on the cards you are considering adding to the deck and if they match the mana symbols on the commander (general) then you can have them in the deck.
ok thx dude i didnt catch the double Capashen Knight and i thought that cause the other 2 could use blue to cast they were good in it but i will change them

Oh yeah much better. I think you have a good start on edh and the deck looks solid so far. I am doing some research on a new deck right now but in the next few days I could take a better look at the deck and make some specific suggestions if you want me to.
please do i haven't played but for a few months picked up some friends cards so i got some stuff i could change out
For EDH, look at "Spell Crumple" and "Hinder." They are great counterspells that tuck the spell. It is a great way to get rid of your opponents Commander for good.
Oh, and the white spells "Condemn" and "Oblation" They tuck things in the library, so you can hamstring your opponent if you are able to tuck their commander.

unfortunately i didn't have those however i did find Banishing Stroke in white and Vanisment and Grasp of Phantasms in blue so will sub those in till i get the others
I might 86 the misthollow griffin, most edh games I play only the general gets rftg. Maybe add something like Sprite noble to replace, just because you are playing lots of flying creatures. I am not sure if you are playing enough enchantments to warrant the Mesa enchantress, it's prolly not doing enough work for you. Try Elite inquisitor, Sliverblade paladin, Voice of all or Tivadar of thorn as a replacement. I like how the deck looks, good job on your first commander deck. Something I tell to all of the people in my playgroup is that every deck can be better so don't stop looking for good advise and if I can help you out again let me know.

sadly i don't have any of the cards you listed however i did sub in serra ascendant for mesa enchantress and i threw in Void Stalker in for his ability put him and target creature on top of owners library's then shuffle over misthollow griffin
The stalker is a great addition, this is quickly becoming a deck that has at least 3 themes, which if you ask me is very nice.
