i was just thinking for 1 island and two colorless you can copy any instant spell with him
izzet guildmage copies spells with mana cost of 2 or less and he is a 2 island cost and with 2 mind sculpts or glimpse the unthinkables that is pretty devastating.
do you actually own all these decks or do you just proxy them? it seems your decks get pretty pricey... this one not included

i really like the idea of this deck. i particularly like what you did with the dead eye.
i see your point but it was just a cheap creature that adds defender and if i actually need it i can pull one of the other lands. i know it is most effective with gates but i am satisfied with it's ability to pull a mountain or a plains.
the whole point just to pull the lands and use grisly salvage to dump the powerful creatures in the graveyard so you can use vigor mortis without having to use their insane casting costs while still having all that mana just in case you have to actually pay for them.
