I really like the looks of your Kithkin deck. I think Kithkin are pretty underrated and are better than they initially appear to be.

We have pretty similar decks and I may have to try out Silence for some opponent disruption.

Are you using Marsh Flats just to thin out your deck? How has that worked out for you? Is it worth the life loss?

I would suggest taking out the Windbrisk Heights, I used to run them and have pulled out some neat combos with them on occasion. However most of the time they just seemed to slow the deck down too much and sometimes I would draw 2 or 3 good cards that I didn't want on the bottom of my deck . Also with such low mana costs on my cards I usually could play them straight out easier than I could play them with the Windbrisk Heights.

Also consider replacing the Unmakes with Path to Exile. Its the best overall creature removal for white in my opinion and giving you opponent an extra land usually works out better than waiting for 3 lands to play unmake with. Also Silence can keep them from using that newly acquired land. There is also always Swords to Plowshares which is great for early game removal but not so much when their creatures are getting big.

I also ran Ajani Goldmane for a while in my deck and the second ability does go well with the deck but I have found Elspeth, Knight-Errant to be a more useful planeswalker for this deck. They both work well and it may be worth it to run 1 of each so you don't have to worry about holding an ajani in your hand and not being able to play it because one is already out.

Also I have never tried running Cloudgoat Ranger but it just doesn't seem like the best card for a straight kithkin deck and its expensive. For a 5 mana card I would rather run the other version of Elspeth, a Elspeth Tirel. Or a better replacement may be some Armored Ascension or 3 Goldmeadow Stalwart. Having one or 2 Goldmeadow Stalwart in your opening hand is awesome for aggro and as far as I can think of its the best or one of the best 1 mana drop with the least negative trade off in the game. (if your running a kithkin deck at least)

Good job and good luck and if you would like to take a look at my deck the url is below.

Marsh flats is there purely for deck-thinning. With A) Kithkin being a fast deck, and B) at least one Knight of Meadowgrain hitting the board, I've found that the life loss is basically always worth it.

Windbrisk heights has certainly screwed me on occasion. But more often than not I can either send away a A) Spectral Procession, B) Oblivion Ring, C) Unmake, D) Cloudgoat Ranger E) Honor of the Pure or F) Thoughtweft Trio - all of which are excellent cards to spring on an opponent, especially if I wouldn't normally have the mana to play them (since this deck can stomp with just two mana). But agreed, they're not a perfect land and they are hardly /needed/.

Your point on Path to Exile is a good one. A really good one. I may actually be making that change soon.

I think I will stick with Ajani, and I can be quite honest in why. While Elspeth's final ability beats Ajani's with ease, Ajani both heals and pumps up all my creatures in a very permanent fashion. Kithkin is about getting a lot of small tribal creatures out fast, and having them all play off each other. Ajani plays perfectly into this because he pumps up all your Kithkin on the board instantly. Elspeth is nice, but she doesn't bring Kithkin into play, so they're stuck as 1/1's until the end of time (unless I have Honor of the Pure out). Having /more/ creatures is always nice, but I don't know - I've just always found Ajani more useful for his pump ability. Also, for what it's worth, I've never had the dual Ajani problem, or if I have, it's worked fine because I just use his second ability until he dies and then immediately play the second to my opponents dismay haha.

Cloudgoat Ranger is an awesome card. I absolutely love him. The fact that he drops three kithkin, who for all intents and purposes could be dropping into play as 7/7's haha, in additon to the versatility of making him into a flying creature who can be buffed. Suffice to say, he has won me countless games, and is a beautiful drop right after your opponent wipes the board. Drawing him early is a pain, but I've used him with startling effectiveness every time I've played. I suggest giving him a shot. Elspeth Tirel is a trade I'd consider making with him I suppose, if I ever got my hands on the card.

I ran Goldmeadow Stalwart in this deck for since it was first built. I finally just took him out to put in Figures I finally acquired, considering this a better one-drop. I haven't had a ton of time to playtest without him, but I may definitely drop him back in.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENT! I love hearing from people!

Yeah I think I will add Marsh flats to my kithkin too. One life isn't much for this kind of deck and I can see it speeding things up nicely.

May have to try out Cloudgoat Ranger sometime, I am currently using Armored Ascension for my big fliers but the extra kithkin may work out better. Not sure.

I am also trying out running Ajani and Elspeth just because they do both go really well with the deck.

Yeah I really love Goldmeadow because I can swing with a 3/3 on turn 2 (play Goldmeadow turn 1 and wizened or honor of pure turn 2) and helps set the pace for fast aggro.
Having said that, Figure of Destiny is completely awesome and will be better than Goldmeadow any turn except turn 1.

Trust me on the Path to Exile, they are really great and fast which fits with the deck.

Either way very solid Kithkin deck.
