The objective of this deck is to stall the board with annoying sticky creatures, up until you can get Marchesa out and work her magic. Your main priority is taking as much damage as possible in the early game, so you can get the most out of Marchesa's "Dethrone" aura.(Dethrone (Whenever this creature attacks the player with the most life or tied for most life, put a +1/+1 counter on it.))For those who don't know, if a creature on your side of the field dies while Marchesa is present (and it has a +1/+1 counter on it), it will return at during your next end step. This means that if you have a reliable way of putting +1/+1 counters on creatures, your board state will be a constant threat.You will also be able to enable this effect through enchantments like Unspeakable Symbol and Feast on the Fallen.The second interesting perk to this deck is the ability to swing the board presence in your favour. It packs a plethora of cards that will steal creatures for the turn, and let you immediately swing back with them. After they leave your opponents quaking with fear with their sudden turn-coat and smack in the face, you can sacrifice them to one of your many sac-outlets to gain some kind of positive effect for you. To top it all off, if they had a +1/+1 counter on them when they died (doesn't matter how it got there) and they ended up in the graveyard, then they will return under your control at the beginning of your end step!With all this graveyard travel, adding in cards like Stalking Vengeance, Warstorm Surge or Viscous Shadows will make the deck even more volatile. No matter if it goes into or comes out of the graveyard, you're doing something nasty!
