Deck Description

One of many Red Deck Wins that will use Koth.

The difference being that mine uses Elemental Appeal, a 4 mana 7/1 Ball Lightning, that when kicked for a total of 9 mana becomes a 14/1 trample haste. This is one the hardest hitting finishers I can think of with Koth's ritual ability.

Tunnel Ignus can really punish fetchlands in most regular decks, and hurts ramp decks almost too much.

Goblin Guide of course, and Kargan Dragonlord is also a good Koth Ritual target, for a surprise 8/8 Flyer if you dont have one of the other finishers.

Kozilek is there as a finisher, and to refill your hand with burn or creatures.

Looking at some hands, it can consitently do 2, 2, 4, damage on the first 3 turns. Not including tunnel ignus ability damage. So if they are at 12 on turn 3, then turn 4-5 can kill them in several ways, either by using Elemental Appeal without kicker, and just burning them out. Using Koth to max level Kargan Dragonlord. Koth to kicked Elemental Appeal.

Tell me what you think, I think Elemental Appeal could be a new staple for red decks now that Koth is around

Deck discussion for Koth's Appeal

I feel like Bushwhackers would be more useful than Ember Haulers, the possibility for 7 damage total by turn 2 with a turn 1 Goblin Guide makes them awesome in fast decks like this.

Also I might use Searing Blase instead of Burst Lightning, it's a bit more efficient and you already have bolts at one-drop.

Other than that looks like a pretty awesome build.

Its true that Bushwackers would be 7 damage by turn 2, but then he is just a 1/1 that does nothing. I would rather play a Tunnel Ignus on turn 2, to punish fetchlands, or a Dragonlord to be powered up by Koth on turn 4. Ember Hauler is also decent as it acts like another removal spell, and can attack for 2. Bushwackers are just a gamble, and the way it is set up now is much more consistent.
