Scouring Sands isn't that useless... it gets rid of all those 1/1 soldiers that white/red loves so much. Also, I'll think on Stormcaller of Keranos, but I like it a lot and my end up doing that 2 storm/2 omen.As for Magma Jet, I would say add it if you have it. At my local game store, this deck comes to about $4.70 total. I already own 4 magma jets that are in my Minotaur deck, so I can probably share 2 with this deck, move sands over to sideboard, and remove 1 shield and 1 madcap from sideboard.Thanks for the input JRE47!

Perhaps Nykthos, Shrine of Nyx? After all copying includes mana cost which helps devotion.
Yes as I've found out myself. (I should have guessed Cloak of Invisibility wasn't common. That is an instant speed hexproof and boardwipe protection.)
Well with illusionist, you can phase Avacyn out before casting it, but I do agree that it isn't a better card in this deck. With no mana ramp or fixing, having another high CMC card in here would only make it harder to play in my opinion.

Hey, first off thanks for the comment. Second, maybe add in Capsize (1UU Buyback [3] Return target permanent to its owners hand), add in Darkness and Fog (darkness was originally printed as a common), and Worldly Tutor. As for things to take out... Maybe Cloak of Mirrors. Shroud isn't helpful in a deck that works on a lot of "target creature" from your side. Kruul Warrior is not that great of a card either. I mean its a self cast +3/+3 for 6 activated ability. Wildheart Envoker (which I know you have in here) does so much better with a Target Creature gains +5/+5 for 8 and it gets trample. I don't know if you have one, but Ulamogs Crusher (8/8 Annihilator 2, Attacks each turn if able for 8 colorless) would be something I would add. Probably your best bet as a beatstick for this deck since most of the cards I'm seeing aren't really big "win" cards, if you know what I mean.Edit: Also maybe some of the counter spells like Mana Leak and Cancel.

Cheap Phasing? Depends on what you want but Merfolk Raiders (1U-Islandwalk, Phasing-2/3) is always a decent choice.
Holy Day or Kami of False Hope would be your best bet for damage prevention. As for what to remove - Darting Merfolk. While it is less expensive CMC, it isn't as useful as your flying 2/1 Lantern Spirit which can fly over ground and block flying.
Any thoughts, ideas, or improvements are welcome. As a side note, this was made to be a fun deck and to utilize some of the previously (in my opinion) slightly less used cards (aka the Sirens and Krakens).
Thank you for your opinions. I'm taking them into consideration. Totally forgot about magma jets when making this, and forgot boros reckoner was a minotaur xD.
