My Gruul Duel just needs a drop of time to come in with mega monsters. if you have a Sakura-Tribe Scout in your opening hand, then you stand a chance to get a breathtaking FOUR MANA on your SECOND TURN. Pick up Heroes' Bane as well and you WILL dominate the battlefield! Almost every card adds a ass-whipping punch to your indestructible arsenal.
Keep playing mana adders the first 3 turns. sakura tribe scout first turn, rites of flourishing and elvish mystic on the next, and for the 3rd turn you can pick up 2 cards, play 2 lands, and have a total of 8 lands in pay by your third turn, ready to play your game-changers (highly unlikely, but awesomely possible!).Keep a look out for your mana related enchantments, these help tons with things like heroes bane, clan defiance, and garruks horde. prowlers helm and rogues passage can get your bulkier creatures past fickle defenses, such as deathtouch. trample helping instants, sorceries, enchantments, artifacts and creatures will always be close at hand.finally, i would like to add that i recently crushed my cousin with heroes bane at just over 1/2 a million (4=8=16=3=64=128=256=512=1024=2048=4096=8192=16384= 32768=63536=127072=254144=508288) doubled it with overwhelming stampede, and gave my 3 other creatures + 1 and a half million with trample. i attacked. my cousin lived with exactly one life remaining. just kidding, i crushed him to a pulp ;)
