Deck Description

I recently got into magic and decided to go easy on the deck build. Not including the sideboard itself, I manage to create the deck with a $50 budget on elves and wolves. It was a fun deck to play against my friends and hopefully it can inspire other new players like myself to get into Magic with a low budget.

How to Play

The entire purpose of the deck is to build the strongest wolf pack. Unlike any rush aggro decks, this deck does require a bit of set up before it can really shine.
The card that you would really want to get out as soon as possible is your Wolf-Skull Shaman, as it will be your main Wolf Token generator.
Parallel Lives will help double the amount of Wolf Tokens you can generate on the turn it is played, this can be combo with Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to turn your 2/2 Wolf Tokens into 3/3 or even 4/4 if you have multiples. In the Early games, you would want to play as many of your 1 drops to help with the mana flows for your higher cost cards like Wolfbriar Elemental or Howl of the Wolf Packs.
Thallid Shell-Dwellers are great 2 drop cards that help you stall against aggro opponents as you set up your packs.
Essence Warden is also another great stall cards that grant you 1 Life for every wolf token, creatures that comes into play, and that includes your opponents.
Wren's Run Packmaster makes another great addition for your wolf pack generator, with the bonus of a 5/5 Elf creature. You can use this card to champion Elvish Visionary so if in any case that Wren's Run Packmaster leaves the field, Elvish Visionary will comeback to the field allowing you to draw another card.
Guttural Response is sideboard in the case where you run into decks with blue spells that can potentially devastate your set up.
