Deck discussion for Draw 2 Death

Is this a budget deck? Because I think u need some dual lands. running 4x underworld dreams which requires 3 black, I don't think you'll consistently will hit 3 black lands by turn 3. Also I feel that sign in blood is misplaced here. Also Spiteful visions would be nice as well! but that might make u want to rethink the creatures in your deck. I've been meaning to make a black/blue draw deck. I keep forgetting!! I did make a black red deck tho. u should check it out.

It's not really meant to be a budget deck... I made some changes though. Added more swamps and brought Dark Ritual up to four. Opening hand Dark Ritual, Dreams and a Swamp. Golden. My thought on Sign In Blood is four damage to opponent for two mana. (as long as Underworld Dreams is out of course).

Really cool deck! Only downside I see is that the opponent removes all the Underworld dreams', then there's really no way to win.

except making your opponent draw their entire deck.

Sure, but I wouldn't call that very reliable. Still, it can happen.

With cards like Time Reversal, Wheel and Deal and Bojuka Bog, it can really mess up many opponent's game plans.

Use Jace Beleren, Font of Mythos, Howling Mine and Spiteful Visions. You could also use Archamages Ascesion.

Most definitely Howling Mine :)

I added the Mine and Mythos. The reason I didn't originally have them was because the deck I listed is the deck I have. I don't own either but that doesn't stop me from adding them.

Possibly my favorite addition to this deck would be a mix of Liliana's Caress and without a doubt Jace's Archivist. Jace's Archivist wrecks in these types of decks.

Yeap. My kind of deck. Love black and blue when they mess with the opponent's game and despise the rules. I just can't see it against fast decks. Maybe if you took off 2 lands and put 2 more Wall of Deceit or other low-cost creature. Imagine this one facing a goblin or a elf deck. Your game only start 3rd turn forward as you have too much medium/high-cost cards, and few creatures. Another solution would be put some artifact that generate mana, like Sol Ring, with it you have 3 mana at the second turn. I guess it's too risky to be too much dependent of Dark Ritual + Underworld Dreams. But it's a great idea for a deck. =]

This is my version of this deck type. I think this one demonstrates how to go against faster decks. :)

I know Hover Barrier has cool artwork, but why would they be in your deck? Just use 4 Guard Gomozoas. Do people you play against run Sever the Bloodline or something?

Or replace them with Fog Banks like mine.

The reason I went with Hover Barrier was the 6 toughness flying. I face a lot of lightning bolts and other burn instants that can still wipe out Gomazoa.

Add teferi's puzzle box for insanity with underworld dreams! :D

Milling by drawing isn't a good wincon. One of the downsides to milling is that it is slow and it doesn't affect them much until you mill them all the way. If you're doing this by drawing, your opponent is gaining the upper hand (literally), becuase they have a faster clock, while you're going to be drawing into less valuable mill spells. I would rework this deck and reconsider your wincon, because from where I'm standing it doesn't look good.

Agreed, but the whole point of this deck is the unique win-con!

I actually just played this deck tonight and took out two opponents by turn four.
T1. swamp, dark ritual, underworld
T2. island, howling mine
T3. swamp, dark ritual, underworld
T4. swamp, wheel and deal. game.
I know it's the perfect storm but it was fun.

I have played against an EDH with this wincon, he runs a lot of search, a lot of board wipe
Archmage Ascension, is a really good search card if win in combo with Howling Mine or Font of Mythos
Tefari's Puzzle Box is also really strong with underworld dreams and really scuppers any plans a control deck would have

very cool deck check out my Draw-to-death deck Megrim Dreams you might be able to get a few ideas from it.

I'm not sure about your creature defense, walls tend to just delay a bit, better to kill off their creatures or stop them from attacking all together.

great deck, the only thing I would suggest is somehow adding a couple mikokoro, center of the sea

I would love your opinion on my deck if you have the time.

Look dude don't be a jerk. Your decks only have like 0-3 likes anyways so you don't need to be dissing people with better ideas. Just chill out and don't be mad at the world.

Sure.. I love the decks I made, and I think they are better then many others rated ones.. Surely, many here may think the same.. But we don't screw others up with nonsense comments. We respect eachother and make constructive criticism.. Don't like this deck? Don't think it worths your like? So, man.. Go out, don't even waste your comment on it but, first of all, "don't be a jerk". Don't like it? Turn around, go on..
