Deck discussion for One Mana Red

Have you looked at the much older goblins, there are some that are great one drops to work with your grenade

A bunch of one drops with trample? Sure they can't be blocked by tokens, but legion loyalist isn't really necessary

So you are telling me a first strike/tample/flying slumbering dragon isn't scary?

There's only 3 of them in the deck, plus there's no guarantee he'd even get to the point of being ale to use them anyway. Not worth it.

And it gives first strike

This pretty much does what it needs to do. A+

even with a mana curve of 1 you still want more land so you can play 2 spells on turn 2 and possibly even 3 spells on turn 3... before you die :)

and why play Dragonmaster Outcast?

Yup. More land.

I'd suggest mana wise to keep it around 16, but instead of just mountains I would run 3 of both scalding tarn and arid mesa to thin out your deck a little and get mountains out quicker.

Are you actually playing the deck? if so are you winning?

Basically the same questions I have: How does this play in actual play? It looks fun!

I do not at this time. This was a fun idea I wanted to try with each color. It looks like this one could be really effective. I'm in the middle of actually putting it together. I'll let ya know.

Do you think that Stonewright would be a better fit than Dragon Mantle?

The only reason I added Dragon Mantle was to have a target for Akroan.

I'd add Figure of Destiny. You are gonna empty your hand fast, thus wont have anything to do with your mana on turn four or five. You can dump that mana into Figure of Destiny making him a bigger creature.

That's very true. The only reason I didn't add him was cause he is red and white. But I'll definitely add him to my actual deck. Thanks.

I agree that figure of destiny would be a much more credible threat then the slumbering dragon

a REALLY good trade out would be Goblin Arsonist ===> Mogg Fanatic (same effect you can choose when to damage though)

take out the Akroan crusader and the Dragon mantle since it is a shoehorn in the deck (your own words) and put something like Rakdos Cackler and then chain lightning for the mantles

and also instead of pillar of flame either Flame slash(more damage just creatures) or Forked bolt (more flexibility)

Also, Tatturmunge Maniac. He's a Goblin for your grenades, and he is a 2/1
