Deck Description

Yes you read that correctly. This deck costs 1/6 the price of most standard solar flares that I've seen.

The deck is still solar flare at it's heart (Forbidden Alchemy + Unburial Rites), but I designed this to a budget by

-no walletcaster mages
-no high $ reanimate targets

Because the budget prevents me from using the standard reanimate targets (wurm coil, sun titan, etc.), I chose mine specifically so that they would beat the standard targets in 1on1 -- 6/6 Carnifex > 4/4 Primeval Titan; 7/7 Sun Titan copy > 6/6 Sun Titan; 6/6 flying lifelink > 6/6 trample
Bloodgift stays because of the card advantage he provides

I know the Blade Splicer and Ratchet Bomb are only ambiguously budget, but they greatly help the deck with board control, so they're in

It's hard to reanimate a card not in your graveyard so I added Jace's Archivist and Dream Twist to help fill up the graveyard

Side board up to 27 land against control match ups. You can't afford to miss a land drop, and the Drownyards provide an excellent source of graveyard presence and an alternate win condition.
I would add on Surgical Extraction if I could afford it: Ghost Quarter + Extraction is very powerful against Wolf Run decks.
Fun mini-combo for color fixing: tap a basic land, ghost quater destroy your own land, comes into play untapped.

Day of Judgement, Divine Reckoning, Ratchet Bomb, Black Sun's, Blade Splicer, and Timely Reinforcements for aggro matches and Revoke Existence for Tempered Steel Matches

The Mind Control sideboard works well in mirror matches.

Deck discussion for Budget Solar Flare (T2)

Not awful for a budget deck but Solar Flare needs more control than this. I could see you either dropping the mill stuff and go for a true Solar Flare or adding more grave shennanigans and going full-on budget reanimator.

Making room for better fatties:
If you're sticking with Solar Flare you need better fatties, the game enders, the crushing blow dealers. Two of your current intended fatties enter with 4 toughness(carnifex and bloodgift) which is bad, and the other two(dross and gargantuan) are slow to cast which is also bad. I know it's tough on a budget but Frost Titans aren't super expensive right now and the money spent on Ratchet Bombs and Blade Splicers would be better allocated to Frosties. Blade Splicers really don't belong in this deck anyway. Massacre Wurm is a few bucks but it fails the dismember test, which may not be a big deal since it will wrath away little chumps.(Sheoldred prerelease foil is rather cheap as well. Though she tends to do better with more targets in your grave so maybe keep in mind if you sway to the budget reanimator side of things).

Control and other things:
If you stay Solar Flare then you must up your control. Cut the mill stuff. Get 4 mana leaks, more Doom Blade or other kill spells. Despise could be useful too. Traveler's Amulet may be a good idea, it gives you a t1 play and smooths out your mana.

That's all I got for now, hope I could be of some help.
