Deck discussion for Modular

At first, I was like, "Why no Arcbound Overseer?" But then I realized that Steel > Arcbound as far as Overseers go.

Also, Followed Footsteps.

That is all.

Followed Footsteps sounds so stalker! He's right though, you still need to play it, tokens are so promising.

Not bad - not that I am a pro at modular - but it looks good.

I have a similar deck and honestly, I could not recommend Etched Champion enough! I like the idea of having skullclamp - as illegal as it is - not that it matters since I have sol ring included in mine already.

I would also drop some of your, "once in a bluemoon" cards like the Blightsteel Colossus and the Mycosynth Golem - they are expensive and even with affinity, the Golem is not that great. But thats just me.

If you like, here is my Modular deck, it plays 'not bad...' but is lacking something, maybe adding skullclamp might speed things up....

So, I have a question:
When transmuting Tolaria West, can you use the ability to put lands in your hand? If so, then getting Tolarian Academy out would be so much easier, and then bigger cards would be a sinch.

Pretty cool. The only thing i'd be worried about is having your lands as artifacts, they are kindof at risk from any opponent artifact destruction.

I have me a modular deck too! Give it a gander if you want
