I fell in love with vampires and I loved the lifelink from white, but I decided to dedicate my time to building that deck to be mono black. I swapped out every creature card that wasn't a vampire for a vampire when I added a play set of "Anowon, the Ruin Sage" to my deck. I only have 2 of those in my deck now and have shifted my focus to strong vampires overall, with a few spells to slow down the opponent. I have tweaked this deck so many times, and it may be at the best point it has been. I am proud of it!BUT, I know it has a lot of 3-4 cost cards, and it could be much quicker. It is very heavy on creatures compared to my red black vampire deck, which is mainly spells with few creatures. I love the cards in it now and have trouble taking out ones I love even though they aren't the best in my deck... that's why I built a red black vampire deck, so I could use some cards that I wanted to keep playing with.I'll take any advice and I'd love to know what kind of decks I have... aggro, control, whatever.. I don't completely get all that but would love to know why certain cards are one way or the other, control or aggro or any of the other terms used to describe the play style. I like the cards in my deck the most, like, "Blood Artist", "Blood Reckoning", "Kalastria Highborn", "Stab Wound"... all of those kind of seem to make moves without being too aggressive if that makes sense? Those cards get things accomplished and can sometimes keep the opponent from attacking or doing certain things. I don't mind being aggressive and swinging with Vampire Nighthawk, though! Gotta love the flying, deathtouch, lifelink combo. Seeing people just take the damage instead of chump blocking... classic! Anyway, thanks! lol
Just hope for the best, man. Even with 19 swamps and 4 dark rituals, I still sometimes struggle for mana or have nothing but mana!!!!
