I wanted to make a Life Gain/Vampire Deck with some slight defenses but generally Balanced. I also looked to see if the creatures abilities complimented one another.
I like to play on curve, and I like to give the boosts to my army, which is why you'll see a lot of 1/1 counters on the field. I also love to play the instants in a pinch only in battles or when my creature might get burned.
