Deck Description

I've played with Modern Elves, but found it to be very unstable and susceptible to Wraths/removal.

I wanted to try out a similar build with built-in resistance in the form of Descendents' Path.

How to Play

11 One-Drops allows for the best chance to drop Descendents' Path on turn two. All 11 One-Drops are druids, 7 of which are elves, allowing for optimum DPath hitting.

If there is no Descendents' Path, the deck plays out more as a Collected Company Elves list and can beat down that way.

The Coursers of Kruphix is there to remove lands from the top of the deck so DPath hits more frequently. Courser is a 3-Drop working better with Collected Company, but is a "nombo" with DPath with Centaur as its only creature type.

A quick win can also be had with Congregation at Dawn and Emrakul in the scenario that you have the Dpath + a Mutavault/Mirror Entity in play. Note that DPath allows you to "Cast" the creature, so you will get an additional turn with which to Slay with Emrakul.

Emrakul Stuck in your hand? 3-of Fauna Shaman will help clear it out. Or, if you live in Magical Christmas land, Nykthos+Elvish Archdruid = casting Emrakul.

21 land is a lot for a deck like this, but concessions for 3 Mutavault had to be made as that land is the best thing ever with DPath.
