Deck Description

Hello one and all! Are you a new MtG player and want to start somewhere? Do you have one or a few friends you might consider starting playing with? Do you have very little money to spend? Then this is the right page for you. This is a list of cards you can buy to compose 5 30 card, mono-colored decks with different strategies for you and your friends to enjoy and explore. You just take your 17 non-land cards, and their corresponding 13 lands and voila, a 30 card deck. These decks were built from the ground up to be as balanced as possible with each other, and to range from $3-$7, depending on which color deck you are considering. If it's just you and a partner, after understanding the general mechanics behind every deck, you two can start combining colors in different combinations to make 60 card decks.

How to Play

Blue Bumpers:
- The blue deck is a control deck that wins off of the mechanic Prowess, and by pushing back on our opponent's plays constantly and relentlessly.

Black Assassins (Not a racist phrase):
- The black deck uses resources besides mana to cast spells such as life, which is why we play Child of Night, which helps give us more life to cast spells like Sign in Blood. Also, since you can gain more than 20 life, you can use Child of Night to raise yourself above your enemy. Black is historically a disruptive color in the mana pie.

Red Rushers:
- Fast spells, fast creatures, red plays quickly and hits hard.

Green Growers:
- Play a few creatures, get out extra lands from spells and bring out big heavy creatures.

White United:
- Keep a massive field with passive bonuses and strike with a very powerful army.
