Any comments appreciated on what to add or whittle down. not sure if building creature/mill hybrid is worthwhile, but with the aberrations, thought it was worth a shot.

Sideboard increasing confusion and put in mind grind, better and technically cheaper to mill.

To help with your mana ramp consider Realwright and Crypt ghast, with all lands being a swamp and giving you 2 mana every time you tap them, you can't go wrong. Also consider a splash of green if you want, abor elves and verdant haven means that you will be able to mind grind through 10 lands on turn 4 in the best case scenario. Take a look at my deck for ideas, it's about milling as fast as possible.

I think you should cut down on those high-mana creatures and jace, they might slow you down too much
