i also forgot to mention only using m12, just started playing again w/ friends and we all started fresh

Thanks for the suggestion! i thought about adding squadron hawk but i found the deck didn't flow as well with 3 colors. I just couldn't seem to make it work. The mana leak, into the roil and khalni garden were my solution for protection early on.
i have a similiar deck, add 4 khalni garden's, the tokens help quick cast the hydra, plus give more creatures to use overwhelming stampede with

lol i love it! i couldn't imagine the look on someone's face if this was pulled off. I agree with J-Slow on the pelakka wurm though, while it's nice to get one out, it seems counter productive to the main idea you are trying to accomplish. I actually took that card out of my deck that you commented on and it plays alot smoother now, it just always seems to be one of those cards that is just there if you need it, but for the price you have to pay it doesn't end up being beneficial. you could add eldrazi conscription if you have it and for just one more mana and it would have a greater impact imo.
these decks are so irritating! can't imagine how fun it must be to play.
I like it! can't wait for 2011 on mtgo. what do you think about droping your spells to 3 each and adding 3 deadly recluse as sort of a short term, anti-black flying gaurd? My deck is a pretty similar build and having a recluse or two out against a vamp deck has saved my butt.
