My deck was built off of an intro deck with cards from boosters i have bought added in. This is not meant to win tournaments or any games at all really... This is what i have made out of what I have as a brand new player. I am on a budget which makes getting a rally good deck hard, I'm just looking for some different cards I could add and play around with. I don't get much time to try things out but I would like some ideas as to how I could make this into a playable deck.

for starters we should start off with how you like to play do you want to have a deck that will control then use a couple big creatures to win or do you like the idea of agro meaning fast creatures hit fast kill fast

I stick more or less to black and green when I'm looking for card combos but i do enjoy the idea of an aggro deck but also like the idea of control with big creatures, so I haven't exactly chosen a type as this build might show
yea that's something we need to figure out first before we can build this deck cause right now this is just a mix of agro and control
I figured it kinda was, I guess could go with agro as I do like the idea of playing with the graveyard and I'm thinking that is a way of agro?
playing with the graveyard is very doable for agro cards like Deathrite shaman and Scavenging ooze are great for that then combined with grisly Salvage can make them really useful
And that would be putting 4 of each of those in my deck? i know i have at least one grisly salvage i could add now
yea 4 for the ooze and the shaman and 3 for the salvage cause again your agro you want more creatures so we use this more as draw power and fuel for the shaman and ooze with the mill of 4 then the card itself allowing you to peck for life or heal depending as to which you need at that moment.
for lands you want 21 - 23 and for sure you need 4 Overgrown Tombs and 4 Golgari Gate so you don't get screwed early on with "dead hand' due to lack of black/green mana
you will also need 4 Devour flesh for Side board because control decks use some nasty big creatures that are black or have protection from black
Ok ill put those on a "to-get" list is there more needed and better placed cards for an agro deck not looking to spend shit-loads till I'm sure I know what I like for certain though.
if you run black you will always want Hero's Downfall with Devour flesh in Side board so make sure you get that no matter what otherwise it just comes down to what deck type you want
Ok so i have noticed the hero's downfall in most black decks so i could definitely get myself some of those
but yea once you figure out the deck idea you want the magic community can help you out in making it a reality
