Deck Description

This is what my first deck consisted of. It took a long time fo me to build because of me being new. Somehow i have lost this one and am trying to rebuild it if i can find the cards again. i topped with this deck before i took a break and now am back.

How to Play

First harbinger is good cause it is a one drop you can search a land for. Turn two is the banneret. Three Dourbark or Elder, depending on what your opponent has out. you can have a 6/6 Trample on turn three or you could have a tribal engine. both good plays. always kinship for the warden that way you have six lands open for the turn. i used garruk for fun. he is an expendable card with no purpose in this deck. Protectors are amazing. they gridlock your side by giving all treefolk indestructability...and +1+1. Battlewand Oak may be small but don't underestimate him. At one point i had him at 12/14.

Deck discussion for Treefolk Beatdown

White green black for treefolks is the best. There is that three drop legendary guy that makes creatures use defense for attack. Its REALLY good. My friend beats me down all the time with that deck lol. My zombies have low defense so it really messes them up.

A treefolk deck without doran, the siege tower is no treefolk deck at all.

at minimum:
-3 seedguide ash (bad because protector counters the effect, which is not that great to begin with)
-2 orchard warden (costs too much mana, too slow)
-2 might of oaks (not necessary IMHO)
-4 forest (replace with murmuring bosk)
-1 treefolk protector (4 is too many)

+3 doran (to get doran out)
+4 dungrove elder (top 5 treefolks in my book)
+4 murmuring bosk (to get doran out)
+1 leaf-crowned elder (to get doran out)

You could even get rid of your reach of branches/lignifies and add in heartwood storyteller(s)

thanks for the advice. at the time i played this one i could not get doran cause they were nowhere to be found.
