The ugins nexus isn't really much help, its too high a cost itself to really help get the doom engine into play and in the list you propose the chief engineer doesn't help much either. If I used that idea I would probably go with Akroan crusader, hordeling outburst and goblin slide with stoke the flames as well. Love the ornithopters though and the springleaf drum.
