The concept of this deck is to generate a tokens, pump them with phalanx leader, and protect them from sweepers with brave the elements and combat damage with Frontline medic. My concept is to be swinging as much and as often as possible, and utilizing Aqueous form and Eidolon of Courage to take out my opponent relatively early in games. I've included Righteous authority, the bident, and, Ephara for additional card-draw, as I can easily see this deck stalling out in the mid-game if my board doesn't get rolling. I may swap out the Righteous Authorities for Hopeful Eidolons, as the life-gain may prove vital towards lasting into the late game.The Ætherizes are a little suspect, but my concept is that if I'm not leaving any blockers open by swinging each turn, my opponent will also be swinging with most their creatures in response, and it could lead to some great value. There are also some great synergies with it and the bident (goodby board).Vortex elemental seems like a great finisher / tempo card, which definitely fits with the theme I'm going for.I may end up replacing the Archetype of Courages with other cards. The ability is somewhat over-shadowed by the front-line medics. I still need to research all the non-basic lands. For now I think the mix I have is ok.As of 6/16 this is my first draft of this deck, so undoubtedly it'll change as I continue theory crating. I'd like to keep it playable in standard.
