Cob Runner is a Necropotence Burn deck. The idea is to get out Necropotence and then always fill your hand before the end of your turn. Then use whatever Drain Life cards you’ve drawn to burn your opponent the next turn. The life you gain from these drains will then allow you to pay for the next batch of cards you draw (via Necro) at the end of your next turn. As your opponent loses life, you gain advantage. Helpful cards along the way will be Ivory Tower and Nevinyrral’s Disk. The Ivory Tower will help you pay for cards. The Nevinyrral’s Disk will allow you to get rid of the Necropotence, so that you can once again begin drawing cards normally, if the need arises. This deck is weak against burn decks, weenie decks and those with Protection from Black. P.S. Cob Runner is an anagram for "Necro Burn."
