Deck Description

This collection of cards makes up a great Green/Black control deck, especially if you're looking to have a good time. This deck focuses on delirium. It's main graveyard engine is Vessel of Nascency, which if used correctly, can give you delirium by turn two. Pale Rider of Trostad helps to fill in the gaps left by Vessel of Nascency, and Elusive Tormentor makes use of cards that aren't helpful to you at the moment while adding to delirium. This deck may seem pricey, but if you buy your cards at the right place (I suggest TCGPlayer) then you can get its cost down to roughly forty dollars.

How to Play

As was previously mentioned, this deck relies on delirium. It's recommended that you play it safe for the first three turns or so, but by turn four this deck can consistently drop bombs on your opponent. For the first two turns, play and activate Vessel of Nascency to activate delirium, or stock up on land with Traverse the Ulvenwald. With Inexorbable Ooze, you have a constant supply of creatures at your command, while cards like Kindly Stranger can keep your opponent's creature count to a minimum. If you're not getting the creatures you need, try using Traverse the Ulvenwald, which allows you to fish for lands or creatures. There are a few late game bombs such as Ulvenwald Hydra and The Gitrog Monster. The two of them together might not be the best combo, but The Gitrog Monster allows you to keep your mana base steady, even as it dwindles. If worst comes to worst, you can sacrifice The Gitrog Monster.
