Considering how often I comment on other people's mill decks. This is my take on a mill deck without a budget. Some notes: There is an even split of island/swamps, and fetch lands in order to pull as much of your lands out of the deck as consistently as possible. The deck is primarily blue so spreading seas plays the double roll of mana fixing and control. Wind Zendikon on a fetch land mean that I can recur the fetch land when I sacrifice it. Deprive is played over counterspell because it bounces a land when I play it which can lead to more landfall counters. In a format that runs eldrazi spawn the Mortician Beetle is a serious threat. Guard Gomazoa is one of the better defenders since it can stall a board for a very long time, it also can eat removal spells that would otherwise be headed towards your hedron crabs. Traumatize is terrible and I will never run it in any mill deck I make. Ever.

I disagree about the selective memories since there's nothing in my deck I'd want to exile just to hit my lands. Echo Mage isn't bad though. The Sadistic Sacraments are pretty much a shoe in because of polymorph decks and the other eldrazi titans making my primary win conditions otherwise impossible.
soulknife what do you think about the card Cast Through Time? Is it useful for a mill deck, or too expensive to be worth including?
A little expensive at CMC 7 - Still a good Idea I think. Worth thought.
