Deck Description

A take on the old Cephalid Breakfast archetype. I run this deck in real life when I want to test my other decks versus what is essentially an inevitable victory.

Of course it can win on turn two with the right scenario so that doesn't usually work out so well. It's an exercise in a complicated combo.

The combo here is that with an equip cost of zero Shuko can be equipped, and unequipped multiple times per turn. And every time that you target a cephalid illusionist you mill the top three cards of your library. This means you can mill your entire library in a turn. When you do so you'll inevitably hit at least a couple of the three narcomoeba's (putting them into play) and giving you enough creatures to sacrifice and flashback dread return. Which in turn targets the Sutured Ghoul that picks up dragon breath and dragon wings, eats everything in the graveyard and becomes a 60ish/60ish flying, trample, haste creature that delivers the knockout.

Deck discussion for Doomghoul

I thought you couldn't just unqeuip equipment, but had to instead equip it onto another creature. This would mean that turn 3 is the earliest you could begin the combo, not turn 2

Yes, you can equip it to the same creature again.

Right, you can equip an already equipped creature with an equipment but you cannot "unequip" an equipment without equipping it to something else or some other silly stuff like bouncing the creautre/equipment.

Really like it ^^ Ide prolly reccomend putting in only 2-3 dread returns, maybe running 2 of the ghouls?

And i know its expensive as all hell but force of wills would really help. Turn one dark rit, sad sac, exile suttered ghoul, 2 narcomebas.

good catch. That's a typo, I only run 1 dread return, and three street wraith's.

Interesting deck, I've been looking for new ideas to tinker around with, and this seems like it should be rather enjoyable. Only thing is that I find Drowned Catacomb's to be oh so much better than Darkslick, overall though 9/10, bravo!

I would reccomend as a backup plan to add the combo with Starlit Sanctum and Daru Spiritualist for infinite life. This is a sick combo as well and is triggered by the shuko equips. This provides extra resiliency for you combo and essentially a 2nd way to win out of nowhere. Also, add a 4th narcomoeba in case you draw more than one. Brainstorm is a wonderful cards so you don't have to worry as much about drawing those cards and there are many other powerful card draw/search spells you seem to be lacking. The land base could use some work as well, especially obviously if you decided to add the Cleric Life combo. Best of luck.
