Now celebrating 50 moderately silly decks on mtgvault. This is a far more streamlined version of my combo madness deck. Which is in itself something of an update to a deck list that was called Cephalid Breakfast back in the day. I think the name is silly so instead I just call it "that deck." Conveniently enough its the deck I run when people get sick of my other decks so I can show them how much less of an irritation they would be. Anyways. The game plan for this deck is to draw cards and cycle through the deck with compulsive research and such until you hit a shuko and a Cephalid Illusionist. Since the activated ability on the shuko costs zero I can activate it mutliple times in one turn. Thus I mill my library into my graveyard. In the process the three narcomoeba's will come into play. I can than sacrifice the narcomoeba's to flashback Dread Return targeting the Sutured Ghoul. Since the Ghoul is cmc 7 it will pick up the three enchantments and eat all the creatures in my graveyard. Becoming a (best case) 63/62 Flying, Trample, Haste, Fear creature. And than attacking for what will probably be the win. This scenario can happen as early as turn two. Using the discard effects of compulsive research, and the reshuffling effect of see beyond helps to keep combo pieces such as dragon breath out of your hand.

That.. is in fact silly, but an elaborate and interesting combo. Nicely done.
