Start with spamming small creatures. Then use token spawning creatures to spawn tokens, and using the Captain of the Watch to give them (and the non-token creatures) vigilance and +1/+1. Then use creature buffing cards to boost your army up and squash your opponent.

Why are you playing Akroan Crusader as you have nothing to utilize the heroic ability in the deck? Boris Recruit, Cenn's Taction, Doomed Traveler, Elite Vanguard, or Gideon's Lawkeeper, all cost 1 mana and have better value. You also do not play any protection for your creatures or removal in your deck, making it a one trick pony that can easily be stopped. Soldiers with pump is a good basic strategy, but you need to round out the deck more to be viable, even on a strict budget.
