Deck discussion for Dark Depths Counter Removal

Am I missing something or can this deck not use Warden of the First Tree?

Specter, if you were to replace the Warden's with something as simple as Elvish Mystics
1) Your deck is now $9 cheaper
2) Your deck is not slowed at all
3) Elvish Mystic can even tap for a land

The same argument could be made for a lot of other cards in the place of the Warden.
Hopefully others will comment on the deck.

Also B means black, U means blue so I'd change the name of the deck to GU.

So I just discovered an amazing combo with vampire hexmage and dark depths. Any advice on what colors I should remove/use to make this work?

Go Black and Blue if you want to control and stall out for your combo.
Go Black and Green if you want to buff and ramp into your combo.
Either way, I would have Black in this deck for sure.
Vampire Hexmage is too good with Dark Depths for it to not be in there.
(Personally I would black and blue with control)
