I would suggest Corpse Churn to put 3 cards in graveyard to get your big creature in and return a useful creature to your hand. I tried making a version with cards i have and i'm gonna try it out soon. It will be my actual first Standard deck, always played modern.

Yes but Vizkopa's abilites (which in my opinion are expensive to cast) has to be paid every turn, where Sanguine Bonds (Or Exquisite Bloods) is one time cast. You will have mana problems.
Oh yeah and how about Siege Rhino! He could always help.
I would suggest at least 1 Sanguine Bond because you may find yourself low on life and you can use the same life gain cards on yourself and still can do damage. HEALING HANDS do damage to your opponent and draw a card, Yeah!
I would use Gut Shot for the mana options, love Master of Cruelties!
I had this combo over a year ago, Bant Combat Prevention. check, love the combo though. Its budget too.

Love the idea for this deck! I would suggest Dark Sphere for protection for 0 mana.
How about the Armed half of Armed and Dangerous for a +1/+1 and double strike over double cleave. Love more+1/+1 counters!
I have a deck similar to this and its basically unloved too. I do have dreadbores in my deck which will help you with this deck.
I like it, i would try Coat of Arms and use Glaring Spotlight when there are enough rats to attack.
