The whole deck revolves around Kalamax, it's pretty bad without him. You want to attack with Kalamax to tap him, there are also other ways to tap him if you can't attack. Once he is tapped, you can play rituals to gain ridiculous amounts of mana, and draw tons of cards. There is also plenty of removal, which you can play on your opponents' turns. Insidious Will puts an infinite amount of counters on Kalamax, because you copy it an infinite amount of times over and over.

No, it's the new Krark from Commander Legends. He will be really good because all of my instants will either be returned to my hand after they resolve, or resolve three times
got it. Was wondering why the 98. Commander legends looks insane. Jeweled lotus I am sure would make the list. Also might steal this list.
I probably wouldn't run Jeweled Lotus in this deck because it only adds three mana of the same color for your commander, but for Kalamax it would only add a generic and another color. I would much rather run a Sol Ring or Mana Crypt, which are repeatable.
But if I get one, I would definitely put it in Najeela to play her turn one
