Deck Description

Mustang: Looks like I can get you on your knees after all.
Lust: He is using the Turn // Burn for creature control, and he Exiled a Silence from his hand. You should have bled to death by now!
Mustang: I Elixired for life gain. I came close to losing from your aggro. You told me I could not kill you, but I would like to try and prove you wrong! So let us see. How many times is it going to take?

How to Play

Stall with your instants.
Fix mana with Realmwright.
Draw with Mercurial Chemister.
Exile powerful instants with Elite Arcanist.
Protect your creatures with Mizzium Skin and Ready.

Use Mutavault and Awaken the Ancient to turn your lands into creatures. That way, they untap when you use Ready. I am fairly certain that is one way to hold infinite mana, but you can correct me if I am wrong.

Deck discussion for Mustang's Homunculus Cremator

You are welcome to suggest things, but I do not think it gets much better than this. :P

Hmmm, This is probably a bad suggestion. In fact it's completely influenced be the past 15 minutes of my life. But I'm going to suggest a them anyway. Volcanic Geyser or Mizzium Mortars.

Was that from Brotherhood????!!!!

That is Brotherhood, yes.

I would say your suggestions are good if they would combo with the Elite Arcanist, but they do not. Volcanic Geyser would have an X of 0 when used with the Elite Arcanist. Mizzium Mortars would be great if you could play it for its alternate overload cost with Elite Arcanist, but you cannot.

OK, next suggestion. What about Burn// Turn and Chandra's Outrage ? (1:^l)

I have Turn//Burn in the sideboard. Chandra's Outrage, is that a good mana conversion for that high a mana cost? What if they have no creatures?

I really want to suggest Rewind but I'm pretty sure this is post M14. What if we try a different approach. Is there really any point to Ready// Willing. I feel like Boros Charm out does it in every way(at least in this deck). Also I do think Turn // Burn should be main boarded because with it you can kill any creature(without Hexproof). Or if there are no creatures you could always do damage to your opponent.

Ready is used to untap all of my creatures. If I have four creature lands and Ready is exiled by an Elite Arcanist, I have infinite mana. It is more for the tap effect that I have Ready in the deck.

I am trying to keep the deck legal for M14.

What should I remove for Turn // Burn?

Ahaaaa! Clever, didn't see that. You would need 4 creature lands to do that however and you only have three. I was actually kind of suggesting to take out Ready // Willing for Turn // Burn. Also I'm sure you've already seen Ral Zarek. Also what about young Pyromancer? Mustang needs an understudy XD

Mutavault adds four more, but it is incredibly clunky for my tastes. I am sideboarding Realmwright for Young Pyromancer. I think I will sideboard Ral Zarek, too.
