Deck Description

Just something i'm trialling. Its just trying to put something into U/B infect which can deal with planeswalkers. Also, i just wanted to mix things up :)

Deck discussion for BRU Control Infect

If win condition is infect, why bolts + Creeping Tar Pit? Sure you can bolt some small creatures, but is bolt + slagstorm really worth adding in an entire color? Just a thought. You could replace those for some more black or blue removal as it would help with the consistency in your deck, if you really feel you need it. Perhaps more infect creatures would be more effective though.

I agree that the slagstorm doesn't fit too well. i run a grixis deck myself and I find that it can be very hard to pay for sometimes. I use pyroclasm instead. It's only R1 and deals 2 damage instead of 3, but it serves its purpose for clearing the field early on while still leaving a mana or 2 open for a counter.

I think you're running way too many of the SoM lands. I would cut it back to like 3 darkslicks and 1 blackcleave. then maybe add 2 drowned catacombs and 2 dragonskull summits. Also, running 4 Scalding Tarns while you only have 4 actual basic lands isn't such a great idea.

Yeah i made this on here, finished it and decided instantly that it wouldn't work. red doesn't contribute anything to infect and so is only really creature removal (and like you have said black beats it). UB has always been the best for control as it has all the best cards for it.
