It's on the front page because of people like you saying how much it sucks Read the response to wildman274's comment for more details Seriously does no one read previous comments before posting >_<
Lol quintuple post??
Maybe so but can they also deal with the other 3 pridemates + the 2 divinity of prides + the 4 Serra ascendants + they have to be able to come back when you have 9,999,999,999,994 life Phyrexian stuff is good and all but one you have that much life your opponent will likely concede anyway. The only one I would really have him consider is maybe dismember Lastly angelic destiny is a great card but it doesn't really fit in the deck. It doesn't help with the life gain and yes this is an aggro deck but before that it is combo-based and that could detract from the combo a little bit.
I think you are underestimating the power of storm crow and bone saw.... However I will admit that is pretty cool
False. In response every single storm crow he owns enters the battlefield equipped with a bone saw and then you scoop due to the sheer awesomeness that you have just witnesses
Agreed :D Wait... I just realized... Would Dryad Arbor still work for Lost in the Woods?
"If I added a storm crow to this deck, would it explain this deck's purpose a bit more clearly?" Lol that response just made my day :). I have an unhealthy love for sarcasm, it is much more fun than just flippin a shit imo
Personally I prefer this combo over the other one b/c I feel It is a little more streamlined but hey that's just me... You said you originally had this version? What made you change to the other one?
I wish I could but technically Phyrexian metamorph is blue so I can't add that I guess I could do your version of the combo with the journey replacing an o-ring but I had all. It forgotten this deck was on here lol :)
Haha yeah I have noticed that, but fortunately for me people tend to forget for a little while when the guy next to me drops down a Darksteel Forge while running Sharuum EDH :D (happens more often than you would think)
And by first one I mean first post *just to clarify*
When I made that first one I thought you were talking about the phyrexian metamorph combo as well... That's what my deck was on only later did I realize that your deck didn't use that combo. Serves me right for staying up until 12:30 lol :D You probably didn't find it because it wasn't called infinite life combo. If you still want to see it this is the deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=216867 It was pretty good in my meta because there were a lot of twin-blade infinite combo decks but other than that I guess it was really only average
Also after actually looking at the decks there are quite a few differences. Cards In his deck that you do not have in yours: Phyrexian metamorph, Soul's attendant, Serra ascendant, squadron hawk, inquisitor exarch, Ajani goldmane, Kabira crossroads, glimmerpost, or revoke existence. So unless you gave us the wrong link, that seems like more than 1 card to me.
Link you need to chill out. There are 4 things you need to think about 1. People get the same ideas constantly especially in a limited card base format such as standard 2. You said it yourself that savajcabbaj gave you the idea for your deck 3. The first comment on your deck by MagicLango gave you the idea for the metamorph 4. I made a deck with the combo on the vault a month before you did... Yours made the front page and you did not see me cussing you out saying you stole my idea and asking for credit for the combo So unless somehow you have copyrighted/patented/whatevered the combo it is not YOURS anyone can use it... So sit down take a chill pill and think before you post next time ok.
You are correct and in that case one of three things could happen: 1. Opponent scoops 2. Your opponent understands the rules and realizes if you have no way of ending the combo the game will end as a draw 3. You have a naturalize or other way to disrupt the combo in hand (or in play) and you gain a ton of life b4 you stop the combo thus making it not infinite
I made one of these a little while back http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=290295 After some testing with mine targeted removal is greatly needed so I highly recommend Lux Cannon Also Tezz's Gambit is better than steady progress And Finally I have a soft spot in my heart for energy chamber in these types of decks Just my thoughts and as SavajCabbaj said these decks are INCREDIBLY fun to play with to enjoy! :)
Yeah, technically there is no such thing as an "infinite" combo. You have toe be able to stop it at some point or else the game would end in a draw, because, well a truly infinite combo would never end thus the game would never end.
Thanks for all of the suggestions :) I LOVE the Broodmother in here... end of opponent's turn activate rakka mar to put 3/1 into play, then your upkeep drop dragon token, sacrifice raka token put 3 counters on Kresh, then main phase sacrifice dragon token with attrition, destroy target nonblack creature put 3 + X (destroyed creature's power) counters on Kresh It also can get both Mikaues combos started with puppeteer clique (I took out Tuktuk for that... him and gigapede just kind of sat there most games because I had better things to sacrifice :D... so thanks for that suggestion too (: ) and murdurous redcap.
Lol yeah I know it's a stretch... That would be pretty cool, If I figure out how to connect it all I will certainly let you know
