It's not that I'm an American, but White/Blue/Red is my favorite color combination amount the tri-color decks. I had to build a semi-serious Jeskai deck, and I liked the idea of making it a Burn style deck. Here's my take on a semi-budget, semi-competative Jeskai build.
More than most deck styles, this deck plays off of your opponent. You want to get creatures out to defend yourself by either taking out your opponent's creatures or chump blocking, but once you've got a few in play to hold down the fort, you want to start dropping burns or countering your opponent's plays. That's where all your instants come into play. Mindswipe and Deflecting Palm block your opponent's plays and deal damage, while Lightning Strike and Magma Jet make your own damage dealing plays. Jeskai Charm does either. That makes the majority of your deck an interactive burn strategy. Side deck allows you to convert the deck from a burn oriented play style into a counter oriented play style.
