So I really like zombies and I wanted to try out devotion after seeing cards like Phylactery Lich and Geralf's Messenger. I'm open to suggestions but nothing insanely expensive please, on a college life budget at the moment so I dont get to build 90% of the decks I want :P
Basically first turn Vault of Whispers into dark ritual into Phylactery Lich. However, if that doesn't work out there's still Gravecrawler or dark ritual into Geralf'f Messenger. Just play aggressively until you can devotion your way into Army of the Damned or Mikaeus or just wait for a huge Gray merchant.btw Gravecrawler+Mikaeus undying=amazing.

I know the triple black is hard to pass up but I feel like Phylactery Lich doesn't belong in this deck. He must be played around too much and is a dead card many times. You are running so few artifacts and given that you are betting on artifact lands in a land of Wasteland just seems too risky. For a replacement I would look no farther than Death Baron. Death touch is just amazing with recurring creatures like gravecrawler, it ensures they can't simply chump block him. Stromgald Crusader is another great devotion 2 drop that has his own evasion and more importantly is Swords to Plowshare proof. Zombie Master is a classic and is always good when ran with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, which also helps you make your colorless lands tap for black.Carrion Feeder is a solid 1 drop that also gets huge with gravecrawler to sacrifice. He also saves your cards from exile effects because you can simply respond with sacrificing them. As far as spells go Cabal Therapy is so amazing with gravecrawler or undying. Another great zombie trick is to run Nameless Inversion.
