Deck discussion for Lunar Agony

Doubling chant will fail to find anything that's transformed, or tokens. Additionally, it counts as casting a spell, so it will prevent any non-transformed werewolves from transforming. Ex: When Mayor of Avabruck flips, its name becomes Howlpack Alpha. Doubling chant searches your library for another copy of Howlpack Alpha and will not find any. You don't get to put into play a Mayor of Avabruck because it has a different name.

Huntsmaster of the Fells is the best one. I like him with the aura from theros block that makes 2 wolf tokens and gives enchanted creature +1/+1 for each wolf. It's shitty when it fizzles, but you can usually make 5 tokens with it, huntsmaster, and Mayor of Avabruck.
Master of the Wild Hunt and Kessig Cage-Breakers are good too.

I'd switch full moon's rise for rancor. Rancor is faster and it doesn't matter if the creature is human, wolf, or werewolf. Plus it keeps going back to your hand.

You don't have enough land. You should have around 22. Drop doubling chant for lands. Drop 2 copies of overrun for land. Switch a copy of kessig wolf run for a basic.

A short deck description and how to play would give us hints about the budget, legality and so on.

The problem with "Huntmaster of the Fells" is that he doesn't get along to good with "Immerwolf", also he's quite expensive ($).

I totally agree with WD40 about the number of lands. Depending on your mana-curve you should try to add 4-6 lands. "Doubling Chant" can be removed and 1-2 "Overrun" can be dropped (You don't want those on your starting hand). As for your manabase, I would try to add some additional duallands (preferably those that don't enter tapped), "Rootbound Crag" would be one of the cheaper ($) duals available.
I would not switch "Full Moon's Rise" for Rancor, at last not all of them. A Single trampling creature is fine but a horde of angry werewolf that all have trample and can be regenerated by sacrificing this enchantment is real scary.

I would either remove "Gatstaf Shepherd" or switch to 2-3 "Pyreheart Wolf". He is no werewolf but forces your opponent to block one of your creatures with two of his and the chances are high that he won't be able to do so.

Lower the number of "Instigator Gang" by one, it's a finisher and you won't need it on your starting hand.

Some further suggestions:
Lightning Bolt, Searing Blaze, Vines of Vastwood, Ranger's Guile

Greetings
Muktol

I've deleted the 4 "Overrun" and put in another four lands as per your suggestions.

"Huntmaster of the Fells" is an expensive card, so I wont be adding it into this deck, but I really liked the idea of doing so. Also adding in 4 "Rootbound Crag" as I have some right here at the house.

WD40 - I really appreciate your explanation of how "Doubling Chant" works! I myself actually figured that out on my own in the middle of a game (bad timing) but it's never failed me before. This deck actually doesn't rely very heavily on wolf tokens, but in sheer size of the horde of werewolves coming in relentlessly, and "Doubling Chant" has come out effectively pretty much every time I've played the deck, ftw. If my werewolves need to be changed back into their Human forms, I simply have to cast two spells in a turn, of which I keep in reserve for such occasions.

Muktol - I am seriously considering working out "Gatstaf Shepherd" and making room for the "Pyreheart Wolf". I really like that suggestion. Only problem with that is that they can choose to take him out by blocking Him, and the effect goes away, even if it did benefit me for a moment. "Instigator Gang" I will likely trade out for something else in a moment, it really is expensive compared to the other creatures I'll be using.

Overall Gentlemen I really appreciate the suggestions! If you would take a look at my other decks and tell me where the weaknesses lie it would mean a lot to me.

Thank you!

Taking out "Pyreheart Wolf" will costs your opponent at last 2 spells (or one exile spell but most of those are expensive to play) as he has undying.
I would use some removal spells instead of "Fog". Fog buys you one turn but that normally doesn't solve a problem. A removal can take it out or, like "Lightning Bolt" deal the last damage to ensure your victory.

Lone wolf and Pyreheart wolf are real good, and you've got 8 wolf lords in the list to support them. (I forgot that I use them, and that's why i use the enchantment that makes wolf tokens... I simply have more wolves anyway). Lone wolf provides a chump block at first, or is an attacker that usually goes unblocked because no one wants to chump it just so it'll come back stronger. Pyreheart wolf gives everything menace. That's crazy.

Fog is rarely a good card because most of the time it will only delay you from losing, rather than help you win. The object of the game is to win rather than not-loose (at least in aggro decks). The only time it works is when you're playing another aggro deck. It allows you to swing out and not fear being killed on the backswing, as a bait for your opponent to do the exact same thing. If you want a fog effect, you should play constant mists instead (and then not play doubling chant so that your mana curve tops out at 3 to support the flashback cost).
