Deck Description

Moving my decks over from TappedOut after the downtime shenanigans from the past two days.

-----

I cannot contain my excitement over this deck. The inspiration for this deck came from the ability on Doorkeeper which for me screamed pauper milling fun. I love mill decks; I find them extremely fun to play and I love finding fun ways to maximize that card drain.

How to Play

- Doorkeeper : Combos with itself and all of the other creatures to mill cards. With 25 defender creatures in the deck, the "perfect storm" scenario would be an 100 card mill for 12 mana. Alas, the likelihood of that happening is far, FAR below 1% but I'll still be able to mill away a lot of cards with him.
- Oona's Gatewarden + Slagwurm Armor : For a total of 2 mana, you get a 2/7 creature with defender...and flying...and wither. What's not to love?
- Wall of Shadows / Wall of Vapor + Glyph of Doom : Both reduce damage to zero or prevent damage. Combine that with the deathtouch-like effects of the Glyph and your opponent has a problem on their hands.
- Drift of Phantasms + Unearth : If you tutor with Drift, you can call it back easy enough. Could also call back Doorkeeper should he find new residence in the graveyard (have to keep the mill engine running!)
- Bojuka Bog + Dimir Aqueduct : Mill some cards, play Bog to exile the milled cards. Next turn play Aqueduct and bounce back Bog. It's a little bit cruel actually.
- Ogre Jailbreaker + Dimir Guildgate : Allows Ogre to attack like he doesn't have defender.
