Deck Description

Zurgo is an amazingly good aggro commander, you just need to be able to protect him when he's not indestructible. Wish I could figure out a way to recur Cloudshift...

That's where all the artifacts come in.

Edit: Almost complete. Only missing Damnation, but that isn't happening any time soon.

How to Play

Boardwipes and a ramped up, indestructible Zurgo.

Deck discussion for Skull & Bones V. 2.0

One suggestion I have would be Assault Suit. It gives you the ability to pass Zurgo to your opponents when it is not your turn. Making him indestructible at all times, while also preventing him from being sacrificed.

Here's a link to my Zurgo EDH deck as well. I'd appreciate any feedback you may have. I find it fun to have a back and forth with someone running the same General as me!

I don't like assault suit. If you're playing a multiplayer game, there's a possibility that you could never have control of Zurgo for the rest of the game. If they're smart, they'll just keep passing him back and forth between themselves, keeping him off your field.

Since this deck really only has Zurgo for creatures (eventually, that's all there will be, aside from Hoarder Dragon and Deathbringer Regent), Assault Suit could potentially nerf the crap out of my deck.

I would like to point out that the controller of the equipment is the one who maintains control of the triggers of Assault Suit. YOU get to choose where he goes. You also gain back control of him at end of turn anyways, so if you need him as a blocker then you can have him.

Hmmm... I see it now. Unfortunately, I can't find my copy of assault suit...

Anyway, this deck is getting a serious overhaul and the only thing I'll be missing is Damnation because I can't justify spending $60 on one card that won't make THAT big a difference in how the deck is played.
