How do you get the cards out that don't have affinity? Do you have to wait for the golem? Or did I miss something?
Sorry to be such a noob, but what are the nonstandard lands for? Is it just in case you need to pay for abilities of creatures that you copy?
Neat concept! I think Carnifex Demon could work well here. Similarly, Contagion Clasp or Contagion Engine.
