Deck Description

pretty basic valakut ramp deck i'm working on right now. i'm currently debating between inferno titan and wurmcoil engine for the last two spots in the deck. any suggestions would be great.

Deck discussion for R/G Valakut Titan Ramp

If you running red then i'd go the titan, from personal experience.. A recurring bolt you can split ways clears the field then once hes through he's shiv'd to the max, he wrecked me a bit, wurmcoil is popular because he can be run in any deck nearly, but if your red i'd go the titan =)

Thanks, that helps a lot with the decision!

This deck is all about speed, and you lack a turn 1 drop -- seems like a bad idea. BoP or Llanowars, use them

This comment is fail. It shouldn't need BoP, also might want Destructive Force

Honestly, they never crossed my mind. There isn't much I could take out for them and they don't help with the goal of getting lands out for valakut. Plus with 15 ramp spells i can easily turn 4 Primeval Titan almost every game. Destructive Force is a good second win condition but again, hurts the chances of valakut going off awesomely. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Run Destructive Force in the side board, it's amazing against control.

You're going to want Expedition Map in there to more reliably get Valakut's out :) ... although, I don't know what you would take out to do that.
