Hi. Firstly, six ravenous rats? Is that a mistake? If not, just drop two of em. Secondly, what's with all the mana ramp? Is that for myojin? Just seems a bit excessive is all. If I were you, I'd lose all that mana ramp and get more spectres (abyssal, guul-draaz, hypnotic), liliana's caress (or megrim) and maybe swap out duress for ostracise (I find it mor useful). Hymn to tourach, horrifying revelation and the rack work well too.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! About the Rats, yeah it was a little mistake which I now have corrected. The mana ramp is for getting either Myojin out, and is also there to get those specters out early in the fight, so I decided I will keep some of them. Other than that, i followed your advice, and added some more specters, and other cards, while I still had some mana ramp. Also, I came to the conclusion to keep the Duress so that I personally can choose to discard potential counterspells.

Fair enough, it looks a lot better now. Nice job on the spectres, I'm still not sure about the mana ramp but if it really works for you then fair play. I only say this cause if you look at your mana curve it isn't that expensive really, but it's your call. I personally, would just add more discard cause it all converts to damage if you've got your new liliana's caress out, but hey. See where you're coming from with the duress though, I didn't realise how old ostracise had gotten anyways! I suppose counter spells can be annoying, but if you go first you can just make em ditch their whole hand by turn three to five anyway, and then they're dead drawing. Have you considered the blood gift demon/underworld dreams combo as well?
I chose to keep some of the mana ramp, just because I wanted to get some specters out early and start discarding the next round, so yeah, I find it better just because it's fun :). You say that I can make their whole hand go by turn three to five, which I can understand, but there are those times where I just don't get the correct cards at the beginning, and also I want to start discarding ASAP. Yeah, I considered that, but I figured out that it wasn't necessary in this deck, BUT the combo gave me a new idea for a deck, which I will soon enough start making ;)
Oh, and although I really like that simian spectre card you just got, be mindful the exiling cards does not count as discarding, so won't work with liliana's caress. Just a tip ;)
I know, but the main reason I chose Shimian Specter is just because of the effect. It lets me choose which cards to remove, and that means I can remove those mean counterspells from the opponents side. So it's mostly a defensive card for me ;)
