Fate Transfer and Wicker Warcrawler are pretty nice cards for a deck like this. Also consider crumbling ashes, though that one can bite you in the ass if you're not careful.

What about torpor orb? A tiny bit more expensive but you only need to throw down one and you're good for the game.
I think you missed the point. Steambed Aquitects are an extremely good merfolk card that you should consider using.
Aint no fish deck without Streambed Aquitects.
thought tbh, I'm not sure why you're using white at all. If you cut the white out entirely you could try to fit in some of the following - Surge Node - Viral Drake + Training Grounds - Thrummingbird + whispersilk cloak - unsummon/disperse You've still got the artifacts, you're getting far more out of your cards with counters and you've got a bit of bounce for the wall and the silcaws.
If you're relying on stuff with counters (tumble magnet, shriekhorn, grindclock) so much, you should probably try to work proliferate in there somewhere, or at least something that can bounce them back into your hand when they've run dry. Maybe try to fit in inexorable tide? You can certainly stay alive long enough to get it out.

I've been running this through 'draw sample hand' and it's scarily reliable. Only thing I'd consider dropping is the baloths. They're expensive in both $ and mana while not doing a whole lot. Llanowar Elves instead maybe?

Exactly. and the expedition map is to the eye as the eye is to the eldrazi, so you could cut some of them and still be getting them inhand just as quickly.
