Sword of the Meek. Take a look at it, take a look at thopter foundry, then start cackling like you live in an island volcano fortress.

Kiln Fiends are amazing in a deck like this. Maybe switch the sparkmages out for them. Good cards:

-Unstable Footing
-Distortion Strike

Sooo...

Drop the envoys, plasma, air serpents and sphinxes. Add three tidal warriors, 3 aquitects, 3 spreading seas and two serpents of the endless sea.

How's that sound?

What format are you going for? There's a load of cards that turn opponents' lands into islands. Off the top of my head: tidal warrior, streambed aquitects, spreading seas and aquitect's will.

No cursecatchers? With a lullmage in play, it's essentially a free counter.

Assault Strobe > Double Cleave. You might want to consider a couple of Nova Chasers. Attack with an elemental and if it survives, champion the chaser onto it.

On the other hand, the Kiln Fiend looks like it has Tiger Blood.

I RECOMMEND BLOODMARK MENTOR.

GOOD FOR ALL RED DECKS AND FITS THE THEME, UP IN THIS BITCH.

I did a very similar thing with less boosting for the thopters. They don't really need it: if you have a few sharding sphinxes in play, you can just drown your enemy in sheer numbers.

Brass Squires, maybe? So you can equip quickly and cheaply when vengevine comes back into play.

Oh, and furnace of rath. Every burn deck needs furnace of rath.

Unstable footing and pyromancer ascension might be nice to add in there somewhere.

Good to see I'm not the only merfolk player around these parts. Are you trying to build for a particular format? If not, memory sluice is probably a better idea than tome scour.

No blowfly infestation or crumbling ashes? They're brutal in -1/-1 decks.

Also, sword of the meek. Looks crap until you consider how it combined with thopter foundry. Also also, etherium sculptors.
