Hybrid tribal/landfall synergies.
It's an aggro deck at the core.I like playing Stomping Ground untapped on T1 along with Hellhound to set up the T2 Pickaxe with another landfall trigger.Your goal is to stack as many land drops as possible and to go all out with damage output. Hopefully by then you'll have trample. Sylvan Awakening is in there mainly for post boardwipe strategies.

Scapeshift is in historic ?Why not try out ruin crab ?Theres also a nice combo with zendikar's roil and risen rief that will give you an army and lots of draws and actually supports a ruin crab strategy as well.
