For under $10 (red box) this deck can be a really fast win. With all the 1 mana auras and hexproof creatures, your opponent usually won't be able to react fast enough. In your opening hand, you want at least 1 creature. If you have 1 creature, and 1 land, you'll be off to a good start. Simply play the creature and then slap auras on it. Before you know it, you'll have a gigantic creature with a bunch of abilities killing your opponent.A few things to note. Spider and Hyena Umbra both have totem armor. Use them well! Spirit Link can be enchanted on more than just your creature! If there is a giant 8/8 Stormtide Leviathan (Quest for Ula's Temple deck) swing at you. Enchant Spirit link on it! It "negates" the damage :) Selesnya Charm can be used to end games, and get rid of creatures. If a chump blocker is needed desperately, you can use that too. I originally had Keen Sense for draw power... then I realize that a playset would cost me $16 :(
Lifelink...for...lifelink? works agaisnt other speedy agro decks.Aura gnarlid works here aswell btw...though he is 3Cmc...
I have Spirit Link instead of lifelink, as Spirit link allows me to "stack" it (multiple instances of lifelink is redundant), and enchant my opponent's creatures. Nice suggestion though!I am considering Aura Gnarlid, but it costs too much mana for this deck, and doesn't have hexproof :(
