What is the purpose of the Scalding Tarn and Arid Mesa lands?
hi, The fetchlands help you increase the chance of drawing a burn spell instead of a land and are also fuel for the lavamancer.
Why not use Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse to avoid paying 1 life?
because the land will come tapped and you won't be able to use it until the next turn, remember that with RDW you wan't to burn their ass as soon as possible :)
